Vivid, Morbid Confusion

I never realized how beautiful blood is.
Its color is the perfect shade,
Dark and thick.
I'll shove a brush in my heart,
And paint an unforgettable picture.
I'll paint a menacing face,
Sharp and crooked teeth,
A gash across a chest,
Black insides along with white eyes,
Open arms with claws on end.
I'll draw me on the inside,
Because you can see me on the outside.
And I'll leave them wondering who I really am,
And how I painted in different colors
When all I used was blood...
