we're just a couple of messed up kids,
just trying to scrape by on what fate's handed to us.
i've enjoyed the time i've spent with you,
a couple of weeks
feels like 5 years.
but you've been apart of my life
for exactly 5 years now;
more as a drifting memory of my adolescents.
but you are a memory i'd like to keep with me,
at least until i'm gone.
