What I Know So Far
Here is what
I have to say so far:
As you grow older
Things do not get less hard
Your heart will still break
By another 'the one'
You'll still throw your hands up
And swear that you're done
Some things that you thought
Forever would last
Will eventually become
A thing of the past
Meltdowns still happen
Trying times still occur
Missing yourself
Wondering if you're still her
You still make mistakes
Some more than once
But it's all still a part
Of who you'll become
People will come
But not all will stay
Appreciate the ones
Who have walked with you the whole way
Some molehills become mountains
Some good days end bad
Sometimes the past will knock
And you'll want back what you had
But you're still a crazy dreamer
Who wishes on every single star
And this, of all things,
Is what I know so far
I have to say so far:
