A New Year
Another year has come and gone,
Another year to go and live on.
Though there is much to expect from this year to come,
There were a lot of great memories in last years, and then some.
I finally graduated from Basic and Tech,
Which I have to say was a pain in the neck.
But what I loved about this year most of all,
Was the surprise for an angel, that had her befall.
A surprise so great she fell silent,
One that made her day quiet brighten.
A dinosaur had come back as he promised
From a year times away, now that was the longest.
2 years its been since the angel and dinosaur has been together,
A weird couple yes, but they are meant to be, birds of a feather.
It was at this time, 2 years time.
A young dinosaur sat in his room, trying to learn to rhyme.
For a special angel that he had just met,
That he truly cared for, his feelings he hasn't expressed yet.
Nervous but excited, wanting to express what he feels,
Something that set their life in motion, something that set the seals.
And now the dinosaur sits fighting time,
Still trying to learn how to rhyme.
To express what he still feels and always will,
A feeling that still gives the dinosaur a thrill.
Im sorry I wasn’t able to be there this New Year,
But just know that I would be there if I could, that I truly hold you dear.
But maybe one day soon we can be there together on a night like this,
To have our special moment together in two years, and have our New Years kiss~
But for now I can only give you this poem,
As a small little gift from this crappy poet,
Know, angel, for this will always ring true,
That I, will always Love You
