No One Wants to Help Her

No one wants to help her
She's alone in the dark
Some mistake of nighttime
A wrong choice somewhere

And that's all she'll ever be
And everything she does
Will be the greatest travesty
And no one will care about her

No one will be there for her
When she cries alone in the dark
When her heart lies bear
When her hopes, her dreams
Lie smoldering in the ashes
Of no one in the world cares.

When aching bones lay to rest
On her bed at night and she
Is all alone and no one, no one
Is there to kiss her goodnight

No one fights away her bad dreams
No one puts a bandaid on her
Old wounds left by unloving hand
And she can't keep up with demands
Made by those who don't care
About her one little itty bit.

She wants so badly to curl up
And die somewhere that no one
Can ever not care about her again.
