In Silence

Here I sit in silence
Only quiet buzzing resounds
Candle's wax is melting
Dripping on my palm

It burns through my hand
The echo grows louder
Curtains fall away
Revealing a new dawn

Lonely guitar starts singing
The humming fills my ears
Through eyes unknown it watches
Disturbing my calm

Deep waters flow all over
Swallowing me in blackness
Only the silhouette remains
It's something I've never drawn
