it happened so suddenly
snatched up, only to be thrown back down
with the chill of cold concrete
tight against bare flesh

watched as the world turned sideways
struggling beneath the weight of existence
helpless to such a force
becoming trapped in a grasp like iron

as the lights beat down, burning
eyes upon eyes watching in fascination
illuminating their intent
all it took was one pair of

shiny
new
pliers

rested in the hands of superiority
a grim shadow
lain upon the garage wall
a dirty, dusty grey

a bellow of laughter, emitted
indeed, a sadistic form of fun
warmth, pooling around
came a string of saliva, dripped into crevices

filled to the brim
with no breath left
just gagging and choking
and pleading out for a form of salvation

"pull the legs off"

such brutal fate
came the rush of an agonizing pain
bones crushing, the ripping apart of limbs
flesh wound: one of six

still, with eyes up there witnessing
mouths grinning, teeth showing
showing pleasure at another's expense
a torture that nobody should deserve

squirm, squirm, squirm
under the destructive tendencies
until the movement stops
and the soul is crushed

like
a
bug

I once watched in horror as someone pulled the limbs, wings, and mandibles off of a live beetle one at a time...
