Impunity

Look at me now, you traitor
And follow some advice
Before hurting your neighbor
Let your hollow men die

You don’t know half the words
You so potently speak
But your pride has no soul
And your arrogance peaks

You have some nerve indeed
To come at me with snarls
Your so-called fallacy
Vanishing in your hands

What a liar, you scum
Hiding behind red masks
Wish they would see your soul
As clear as your black eyes

Cowardice knows no limits
When it comes to your actions
Wish I had never seen it
Not even just a fraction

Your ways make my blood boil
To see so much injustice
Watch me quiet and recoil
Become icy and rusty

But my fire, it flares
When your people do damage
For you, this is a game
Can’t be fixed with a bandage

I see murder and pain
You call it ‘revolution’
‘Cause you don’t see that face
Starving in convolution

But your people remain
Multiply like drain rats
Your ignorance prevails
Rotting you from inside

Call me wrong, I don’t care
Some day we will see light
And that time at that day
You’ll be drowning in dark

It seems like every day in my country is filled with injustice and wrongness and tons of people calling it 'progress' or whatever other term that politicians use to justify their fuck ups. I'm tired of dealing with people who think they can mend in one of the most delicate aspects of a person's life: their health. Sorry, I'm angry.
