Mirror(II)

(The original poem. By: Bridgette)
Mirror

Look into the glass
Tell me what you see
I see my past
And the girl standing infront of me

What happened to the girl with the gentle heart?
Who smiled all the time?
She never noticed, but she soon fell apart
She hardly smiles, it should be a crime

She cries to herself when she is alone
She ignored her friend
By making up excuses to get off the phone
She keeps to herself so her heart can mend

Look into the glass
I'll tell you what I see
I see myself
I see the 'New' me

(My Poem)

Mirror(II)

Look in the mirror,
And what do you see?
I see a small girl,
That used to be me.

She’d smile all day,
And cheer when you laughed.
But now she just cries,
When she thinks of the past.

Touch the cold glass,
What do you feel?
I feel a girl’s hand,
That now feel like steel.
Those poor little hands,
That want to be held.
A poor broken heart,
That couldn’t be helped.

Now open your soul,
And what do you dream?
I dream for a love,
That’s as real as it seems.
Now I’ll open my eyes,
And see you right there.
Now it’s seems God,
Has answered my prayer.
