Save me from the nothing ive become

She tells them,
to busy, homework.
she sneeks out the window.
and onto the damp earth.
it retains the pressure of her
standing on the ground,
testing the waters.
seeing what
she can get away with. and then
she runs.

She shows them,
the clothes
smuggled under
her others.
she laughs along,
but wonders what everyone will think of her.
she gets home. Mom passed out
Dad mad,
normal life.

She tells him
she loves him
and she wont leave,
but her boss is nicer,
sweeter,
and she deserves that raise.
she gets home,
she gives him a kiss, and says
work was fine.
he looks her over, and notices the marks on her knees.
She runs.

He laughs,
and points at the weird girl,
with the piercings and
tattoo's.
He points and makes fun.
But later,
he sneeks to her house,
and makes love to her in the back seat of his car.
she loves him,
but reputation comes before love,
she cries, and dies.

Faking it,
isnt that rewarding?
