Broken Glass Bird With Broken Glass Wings

I had a glass bird
on my little bedside table
It was there, there
But now it's on the floor, floor
Shattered in one, two, hundred pieces
The wings, shattered feathers
Lying there on my way

She had a name
A name I forgot
Forgive, forgive

Now I have no tape,
No superglue to glue
the wings back to place
Glass to glass
I failed to hear the crash
