Lyrics: Lullaby

This song is about a confusing and heartbreaking relationship between The Author and The Reader. The Author is dead/dying from suicide because The Author and The Reader loved each other but they keep on having fights for a couple reasons: The Author has been doing drugs (to contradict this mirror) and has been saying really nasty things to The Reader. The Author is really sorry about all of it but it's too late to The Reader. So The Author just wants all of it to pass and die already. But The Author really wants to say sorry because he/she's been stupid but now it's kind of too late. Hopefully you can fit this description with the lyrics. The bridge might clear it up.

Verse 1:
Let my heart scream in the audio
Let my heart bleed through the microphone
Cause crying doesn't mean a thing
And lying lets the misery in
How long should I sing this song
How long should this song go on
to contradict this mirror
to contradict my words

Refrain 1:
You're just waiting for my funeral
But Mom and Dad don't know why
You're just waiting for my funeral
You're just waiting for me to die

Chorus:
Sing to me please
a lullaby
so I can sleep
so time can fly
and I can breathe
Please hear me
I'm so sorry

Verse 2:
Crying to the tune of your voice
Crying cause there's only one choice
Whispers from the writing on the wall
These shots say I'm high when I'm at my fall
Feels like I'm flying at the speed of sound
Feels like I'm flying til I hit the ground

Refrain 2:
Just wait for my funeral
Are you wondering why
You're the reason I'm still crying
You're the reason I will die

Chorus:
Sing to me please
a lullaby
so I can sleep
so time can fly
and I can breathe
Please hear me
I'm so sorry
