Just Imagine

Razor-sharp thoughts,
Cutting through my mind.
Just imagine,
What that's like.

All of my glittery, glass dreams,
Shatter just as I breathe.
Just Imagine,
What that's like.

All of the shards from them,
Stick into my feet.
Blood streams out,
And I start to fall.

My wounded foot,
Becomes abscessed with disease.
I may survive the infection,
Or I may throw in the towel.

Almost ready to give up,
With each agonizing step I take.
Just imagine,
What that's like.
