Opposites

Words, thoughts, screaming rhymes,
laughing, jumping, flying on crimes.

Anger, headaches, pain, despair
empty holes and death grows near.

Energised, procrastination,
Fingers twitching in frustration.

Happiness that seems unnatural,
seeing things that don’t look factual.

Up and down like an elevator,
doing things you regret later.

Then your mind starts thinking bad,
saying things that make you sad.

Crying things and then you’re lying,
lying then you feel like crying.

Dry my eyes my heart is breaking,
but soon enough I’ll feel like baking.

Winter, summer, north and south,
opposites divide my mouth-

For one day I’ll be speaking happy,
and then I’ll just be feeling crappy.
