There's an old memory in the back
We were only 3 or 4
A brunette, a Blond and A little Red head run around the house.
I don't know much more.
I have no idea what this place was for.

The people I know,
Are the people I knew.
I'm losing control without Memories so true
But I will always have you.

Then we grew up and they moved away.
I burned the lower part of Texas that somber Summer day.
We hugged goodbye.
and I was told her fate in a patch of marigolds.
Since when does 14 seem so old?

The people I know,
Are the people I knew.
I'm losing control without Memories so true
But I will always have you.

I thought I had found a new friend in the third.
She was Funny and cool.
I followed her blindly like a fool.
Then she found a place in downtown Houston of utter disgrace.
Her head moved farther than the highest phase.

The people I know,
Are the people I knew.
I'm losing control without Memories so true
But I will always have you.

Then One day I looked back at all the people I knew
The ones who had left,
one's that stayed, so few.
I turned my head and Frankly I only saw you.
We've been threw so much.
Fights and Unbelievable make ups.
Fires and we always got caught.
But I wouldn't take pack a single person
Even if I could keep you.

The people I know,
Are the people I knew.
I'm losing control without Memories so true
But I will always have you.
I will always have you.
And even when your gone I always have you.
