A Little Reminder

The tempting trigger pulled,
with rage and lust.
Silver bullet collides,
with perfectly pale skin.
The sharp bullet pierces,
his broken beating heart.
The blood,
ran like sweat.
The screams,
like broken records.
He remembers nothing,
only speeding lights,
and painful sounds.
The monotonous beep,
of medical machines,
confirms his worst nightmare.
He is greeted by,
fake faces and warm hugs.
Then he is sent away,
were the crazies stay.
They said he could get help,
they said he could get better.
Now he sits alone,
in his room he must stay.
Only his warped mind,
to keep him company.
He now has nothing left,
only the sunken scar,
to remind him,
how he had failed,
yet again.
