The poem of truth

Baby girl I’ve neglected you to the breaking point.
Made you feel like I forgot your existence.
Sent a feeling of someone else mattered more than you.
Didn’t treat you like the princess you are.
Lost our friendship in feelings that what look’s like rushed.

Didn’t mean to neglect you just so caught up in my head it
made me go mad.
I didn’t once forget you how could I your name is written in sharpie marker
in my head and every thing we did together.
Even if your not the one in my arm’s in a lovers way I’ll still love you in another way.
I’m not a knight in shinning armor more like a rusted little wanabie peasant,
you are a princess though.
Friendship is supposed to be golden I made ours into melted scraps.

We both know we aren’t perfect an something’s will never change.
It’s not always a life lesson just something that’s cruel and hurtful;
even if we think we aren’t nearly hurting each other badly as we think we aren’t.

Some love is still left in our heart’s at least mine I know for sure.
Your heart maybe not, maybe if it’s all gone I understand.
Not every thing can be forgiven.

We may not be with each other dear in our lives the way we
had hopped we would.
I still think of what could have been.
Do you?

Sorry isn’t going to cut what we’ve done I know that so
what’s next?
