And so I said to her:
You can label me
That’s fine
You just won’t get to see
A personality that’s mine
One that you’ll miss
When you judge
That flows in an abyss
And won’t budge
When you fail to acknowledge
That I’m not who you think I am
I’ll be successful in college
And you’ll be thinking of a plan
To get me back
Because you lack
The ability to be non-judgmental
And in the real world it’s fundamental
To get the guy you like
But if you’re ugly inside

Against your pride
And eventually ruin you
Until you’re on the street too
Then one day I’ll walk past
And finally at last
You’ll see
Why you shouldn’t have judged me
You can label me
That’s fine
You just won’t get to see
A personality that’s mine
One that you’ll miss
When you judge
That flows in an abyss
And won’t budge
When you fail to acknowledge
