A love letter

All this time how I longed for someone to love
A song that no one sang
A flower without a name
An angel without care for love again

Take my hand, come with me
But don't turn around
I want to see the beauty of your eyes
But they shine away from me

This is what I say! I'm fighting back my tears
The war that I wage
In time you will see
The more that I say! The closer you come

Follow me, walk in my mind
Take my hand, explore my meadows
Drown into my eyes and see the wanderer
See the true nature of my being

Walk the stars with me
Sleep in the moon next to me
I want to be the one that wanders your mind
I want to be in your dreams.

Because I know my dreams are made of you
Of you, and only for you
The sound of your voice brings me back to myself
You let me be myself without a shell

The moon has shined since I met your eyes, they seem so far.
But I feel like Ive known them for all of my life
Since I used to swim, away from the wakeful day
I want to say I love you, but I am afraid

When I loose all of my hope for love
A shining light will appear in front of me
Those eyes that will paralyze me from the first time I see them
That voice that will glue the pieces of my shattered hearth

If you read this line, remember
Not the hand that wrote it, but
The hand that it was made for

I want to be the one to sing your song
The wanderer to grab you on the field of heaven
The angel to make you care for love again

Travel inside my mind, meet my oceans
Fly across my starry sky
Walk within my poetry
My love letter, to you
