Snow

Snowflakes are swirling around my head.
I don’t know where I am.
A boy comes timidly from the trees.
He looks me in my eyes.
I feel like I know him.
He walks towards me and rests his hands on my cheeks.
For a cold night, his hands are warm.
He leans inward, I think he’s going to kiss me.
His lips touch mine and I feel the electricity.
I react, My hand grabs his and I intertwine my fingers.
My brain feels like it’s gone away.
My bones have gone with it.
My stomach can’t contain the butterflies.
My hair stands on end.
I feel like the center of the universe.
There is no other place I’d rather be than with this boy.
