Starkissed

Sun beams dance in your eyelashes,
And your beauty echoes off the sky,
Our fingers and hearts entwined,
Beating as one.

Clouds and time will pass us by,
The sun disappears, the moon rises.
Stars kiss the sky,
Like candles on the water.

Our lips are blue now, frozen cold,
Yet our fingers still clasp at one another’s,
Our hooded eyes are listless,
Beating hearts now kiss the sky,
For we are stars.
