He's so Naive

All he needs is a boy to whisper,
those three heart wrenching words.
as he says them too,
a smile upon his naive face,
thinking he has found love,
but the love is oh so fake.

All he needs are warm arms,
words whispered to reassure its okay.
While the other boy needs,
are far from the same.
his thoughts consisting,
of his next pray.

All he needs is a smile,
no matter how fake.
Wanting so badly to believe,
his own love,
is not the same/

He lets him eye up the other boys,
all beautiful, perfection.
He just holds his head in shame,
wondering how himself,
could be that pretty.
While pretending,
He has not seen.

He lets him flirt with the girls,
All attractive and nice.
He just clings to his arm,
wondering if he's good enough.
While not noticing,
his lover has shrugged him away,
and walked off with her.

He lets him do anything,
As long as he comes back,
says he is sorry,
as he gives him a kiss,
goodbye.

This boy believes every word.
Like a love needed puppy,
bound to his "lovers" leash.
He is dancing on his finger,
wrapped on his ring.

This boy believes his excuses.
That the boys he met,
the girls he talked to,
didn't mean a thing,
nothing.

This boy believes the lies.
he believes the false love he receives.
But this boy refuses to see,
the believable truth.
The truth that reveals,
his everything,
is fake.
