Forgetting
I wish there was a reason
That I could say
I love you
so
but in the end there is truth
that tells me what
I fear and
know
To tell you all these secrets
Would burn my heart
away from
you
And to bare my soul broken
would break my heart
to tear joy
too
One hundred melted lovers
compare nothing
and know loss
reigns
If only a hundred could
know you truly
and hide fear
away
Yet the fear that we both hide
is the ending
to a sad
lullaby
And in truth we only know
breaks back and bone
to form our
lies.
That I could say
I love you
so
but in the end there is truth
that tells me what
I fear and
know
To tell you all these secrets
Would burn my heart
away from
you
And to bare my soul broken
would break my heart
to tear joy
too
One hundred melted lovers
compare nothing
and know loss
reigns
If only a hundred could
know you truly
and hide fear
away
Yet the fear that we both hide
is the ending
to a sad
lullaby
And in truth we only know
breaks back and bone
to form our
lies.
