Betrayal of the Parasites

You stare at me through those cold, sinister eyes,
While putting a chameleon to shame through your shifting facade,
You win the hearts of my allies, not caring who you hurt,
Or who you completely destroy.
A parasite to everyone you know, an antagonist to those you hate,
Little see through your illusion, some see through your lies,
But no one knows that your insanity grows,
As you slowly fade into your surroundings.
Your new charade already a failure, your friends driven away,
The reality revealing as you drink away your inconveniences,
And pretend to care about other people,
When actually you only care about the success of devastation.
And yet through all these accidental presentations,
They can’t see who you really are,
Yet as you take my meaning of life I see no satisfaction in your eyes,
As there is always one individual who will not be mesmerised by your pretences.
All they glimpse is a delicate teenager, who seems mentally deprived,
But in the end all will be revealed,
That the only deprivation you see directly,
Is the denial to acknowledge your existence from your own flesh and blood.
Through this deprivation, you seek continuous attention,
Which stimulates your need to alter,
For you fear that your true tedious nature, will cause more denial,
And so, in hope for recognition, become the human meaning of “Me, Myself and I”.
