My Time Has Come

I see my cold body lying on the bathroom floor,
And there’s Jimmy standing at the door.
His eyes are open wide,
But he doesn’t rush to my side.
A pool of blood I’m lying in,
A knife stuck deep into my skin.

The pain is unbearable as the blood continues to flow,
This didn’t need to happen; I should have coped with the sorrow.
The name calling became too much to bare,
Not mentioning the times the girls pulled at my hair.
But this is it now, my time has come,
I’m finally going numb.
