Popeye's Chicken

One day, Bee was famished.
In search of a cure for her overpowering hunger,
She sought high and low.
Impoverished, she finally stumbled upon something marvelous!
An enticing establishment filled with delicious delicacies.
Upon entering the beautiful building, her eyes widened with glee.
For there sat in front of her was so much to see!
Pheasant and pies,
Fries and ryes,
Oh what a sight
For one in such plight.
Overwhelmed by the spread lain before her,
Bee pondered what to order.
How many pieces should she take?
For in the morning there would be nothing for her to make.
She thought long and hard,
While looking for her card.
Asking aid from a trust friend,
She eventually found food to delight in.
Oh what shock she felt when the price was shown.
Surely this injustice was to be made known.
Exiting the wicked provider of food,
She gave them one final humph of "how rude!"
The daunting trail ahead she did dread.
For who would pass on a chance to lose food and bust in her head?
The coaches did attempt this fine feat
By traveling the path made only for feet.
ALAS! Her dorm she did spy
(sneaking into her mouth a fry).
Perlious roads she did cross,
Hoping not to take a toss.
The journey did end sad like it began,
For she lost her food- starving again.
