Sunday Evening a Light Little Prayer

Sunlight through the window
Touches everything
But I am hidden
Here in my dark corner
Shadows dance around me
Waiting with what will
Yet they cannot reach
It seems I am left
In still black seas

The light is pale and yellow
Singing melodies
Happy little tunes they be
Almost whistling
Piano Keys
Black & White repeating
Cold hands play the sweetest song for me
But where have you gone

Gentle breezes rustle the leaves
Tiny blue bird
Won't you sing for me
Delicate flower
Sway ever so gently
Smiling children
Play to your hearts content
I shall save my sorrows
And weep another day
Continue on fair world
Forget my woeful ways
