Evaporating In The Dark

Evaporating In The Dark

Strawberry cuts formed on her frame
As his forced pressure bruised her hips
Silence of the night dawned on her
As filth tore apart her lips

Salivation in her throat
Which moistened her damp fear of him
Hope of life was ripped and burnt
And all light in her heart was dim

Raven strands wedged in his smirk
As kisses of the devil lay
Towering innocence with his pride
Waiting for the death of day

Over his scarred sin and lies
He wore pressed shirts oh-so-neat
Underneath white-collared smiles
X-rayed truth inked on his sheets

Vanity was the mistake
Which took her far into her plight
Her muffled cries were gone at dusk
Evaporated into night
