A scream inside
A silent goodbye
The blood on the carpet
The tears from the sky

The hurt of the shreds
Of skin at her feet
The silence of death
The flight of the elite

A scream in me
The hurt in my heart
The coldness of a corpse
Blood sweet like a tart

A scream in us
Lingers long
The ghost of Her
Silently gone

A scream inside
A silent cry for help
When no one's there
To here her last yelp...
