Even Nature Rejects Me

Beach
I am the sand
For people walk all over me
Being separated from the beauty
Of the crowded sea
Although it gets quite near me
Once in a while
I'm never truly happy
You'll never see a smile

Mountain
I am the peak
For I seem to stick out
People seek to reach me
Even if they have their doubts
I watch birds soar by
I also watch the planes
They do not get too close
For my position stays the same

Forest
I am the lonely tree stump
For I have no branches
No leaves
Animals tend to pass me
I have nothing they need
Though, I will be used for fires
To keep people warm
I'll be lucky if I'm even used for that
I'm usually quite ignored

Country Side
I am the empty rocking chair
That sits outside an abandoned home
The roof is caving in
The walls aren't that strong
No one lives here anymore
It's not that great for shelter
The ceiling tends to drip
When there is rainy weather

Perfect, I am not, you see
My mistakes I can't hide
No perfection in beaches
None in country sides

Loneliness, I feel
My sad song has no chorus
No happiness in mountains
None in the forests
