Desperation
As a single tear falls
Free does a sob break
The smiles and oh the lies
Which her heart did take
Another tear sliding slowly
A soft smile touches her lips
As she raises the blade
At an angle upon her wrists
The smile fades with
Another sob
She throws the Razor knowing
It'd be unfair to rob
The people she loves
Of her wide smile
The one that touches her lips
Once in a while
She then stares
At the veins so deep
And thinks of a promise
Desperation has her keep
Her hand reaches up
To wipe away the tears
Her eyes alight
With hidden fears.
Free does a sob break
The smiles and oh the lies
Which her heart did take
Another tear sliding slowly
A soft smile touches her lips
As she raises the blade
At an angle upon her wrists
The smile fades with
Another sob
She throws the Razor knowing
It'd be unfair to rob
The people she loves
Of her wide smile
The one that touches her lips
Once in a while
She then stares
At the veins so deep
And thinks of a promise
Desperation has her keep
Her hand reaches up
To wipe away the tears
Her eyes alight
With hidden fears.
