Together are the Wolf Hound

The Wolf met the Hound,
both in sheep's clothing.
The Wolf distant,
the Hound hyper,
both so tightly wound.

They paraded, not knowing where to go.
They stuck close to each other,
dancing to their own beat.
and pretty soon
they fell in love with the other's show.

The Wolf's mother caring,
her father wary.
The Hound's mother understood,
her father tried his best.
All thought them daring.

The Hound boasted of hell,
the Wolf tried to hide
but the Hound pushed,
begged her to take off the clothing,
for the Wolf to tell.

The Hound broken,
the Wolf tattered,
they worked to fix each other.
'The wounds time can't heal
I will.' So the Hound had spoken.

And soon enough they found
they fell in love with the real other.
The Hound made the Wolf smile
and the Wolf felt right
but only with the Hound.

They promised to stay
side by side
there through thick and thin,
through heaven and through hell,
their love never fading away.
