Valentine
An empty little heart
That bleeds and bleeds
A hurting little heart
That pleads and pleads
For love and kindness
And to be held
For a smile and a kiss
Upon which befell
The body it's contained in
Upon the lips indeed
The bleeding little heart
So loud and indiscreet
A broken little heart
Begging for his love
An evil little heart
Crying to up above
To take it now
And end the pain
Screaming through tears
In pouring rain
The heart is silenced
Eased to be numb
Oh but the pain
Has only begun
Days pass
Time goes by
Two months
Seem to fly
Her eyes lose light
She life loses shine
She wishes he
Was her Valentine
The day approaches
With roses red
Even more she's begging
To be just dead
So many reasons
He left her
Each beat of her hearts
Begs to now falter
And ye though he left
She screams for his arms
She never thought he
Would bring her so much harm
She reads through the poems
She so carefully wrote
The stories, the words
And makes a mental note
To never fall that deep
To never fall that hard
To never let the love she gave
Get that far.
She sighs and writes
One more just for him
A smile touches her lips
And a tear upon her hand
A Valentine,
She asks for
A Valentine
No More
A soft kiss
A Valentine
A rose at that
For this heart of mine
Would you be
My Valentine?
That bleeds and bleeds
A hurting little heart
That pleads and pleads
For love and kindness
And to be held
For a smile and a kiss
Upon which befell
The body it's contained in
Upon the lips indeed
The bleeding little heart
