Different as day and night I tell myself
Yet how could I love someone else
You grow life while I watch belts
Of stars that natures dealt

My star
No one shines brighter than you
I would know because you are the sun and I am the moon

Different as moon and sun
I bring sleep while you bring fun
You wrap the earth with ribbons of gold
While I bite the other side with bitter cold

My star there’s nothing to fear

Different as Light and Dark
Yet I got your bright smile
