Because of You

So I’ll put on a facade, just for you.
And I’ll lie and say I’m happy, just for you.
And sing and dance around, just for you.
I’ll act like nothing is wrong, just for you.
Because I know that’s that what you want to see.
And I also know that you only want that,
Because you don’t want to deal with my misery.
You’re too happy right now, to actually help me.
But you also don’t care.
Don’t tell me that you do.
Because it’s all a lie, I must tell you.
If I told you four months ago you probably would.
And along with caring, you’d know why.
But now you don’t have either.
And I would love to sit here and tell you
That I’ll always be here for you
But I’m afraid that’s turning into a bigger lie, everyday.
If you truly cared you’d see, that I’m not sad because of the past.
Maybe I’m sad, because of you.
