The Flower called Embrosia.

Somewhere in the Garden of Eden
Grows a red flower
Its petals were soft, with specks of pallid blue
Orange in the day, and blossoms at noon

I call it Embrosia,
For it looks like him-
Embry! The man I used to love,
Thoughts of him tingling my skin.

I recall watching with him the moorhen fly
The thrills of sneaking out late at night
Oh, yes! Nights in the meadow, making love in the barn
Breaking august rules and careless highs.

And so that this flower shows
The feeling of love, the morphia beauty
But I know this flower would wilt and die soon- sadly
But then again
So did Embry.
