Epiphany

There is no Earth- only a Heaven and Hell
With a greyzone plateau where "humans" dwell.

It's so small and insignificant, but both of us are here.
I "fell up" the highway to Hell, and you fell down Heaven's tiers.

Now we're stuck in this sea of people, yet we don't belong.
Our crash-landings left us wounded, but I know not for long.

You're the yang to my yin; my beloved counterpart;
The only one in the grey that can mend my damaged heart.

With you're first-aid kit of band aids, not a needle and thread
For stitches leave a path- a scar I wish never re-tread.

Your wings are broken, my horns bent, but we'll help each other through.
Live laugh and love. That's all we need to do.
