In the corner

There she sit
in the back of the corner.
A little girl
cowering up to the wall
afraid he may come back to get her.

Crying, crying and crying
silent cries they are.
Don't want to make a sound
and make him mad.
Everything makes him mad
she better be quiet.
Cause if he heard, she will
not see the end of it.

There she sit
in the back of the corner
in a dark dark room
with nothing else in it then
dust, creeps and a small madras
crying silently for help.

There is no sound
just the little whimpers she make
and for once she opens her mouth and whisper:

I don't want to be me
