Under The Moonlight

Under the moonlight I can see your heart
Quivering in pain and sorrow
Nobody can hear you cries of pain as
Your pain and sorrow consume you
In the moon’s pure light you look at me with
Sorrowful eyes.
When the sun is gone I see you
Beautiful and pure but cold.
Like a blade of a knife so sharp and sweet.
All of you sorrow, grief, and pain
Locked away deep in the forest of the night.
Under the moonlight your heart
Tremble like a bowstring of a drawn bow.
Nobody can see you pain
At night but when the sun comes up all
Your tears of pain are shown.
Beautiful and pure but cold.
Like a blade of a knife so sharp so sweet.
All you sorrow, grief, and pain
Locked away deep in the forest of the night.
Your heart belongs to the forest
Of the things that cry out at night.
