Childish Fears.

I’m tired of feeling second best,
Although I’ve aced the grueling test.
I wish I could tell you my fears,
I may never know if you’d brush me off like the tears.

You say you love me,
No matter the cost,
Sometimes I just wanna flee,
I’m childishly lost.
Lost with on faith in mind,
Breaking all connection with the past.
I’m breaking on the inside,
Torn between the love we wish to last.

My fears are childish, I know.
Tearing your heart like paper, I’m sure.
I’m so sorry I’m not good enough, not as unique as snow.
I’m three of a kind, many can say for sure.

Being childish and stupid,
These thoughts will cause me to lose you.
I’m sure by now you’re livid.
I just hope you know. I’ll always love you.
