Music

Without benevolence, the stars would explode,
The wind would forget how to dance,
We would disregard the need to smile
With the reminder that a delusional mindset
Is a catalyst for mistakes
That cause us to lie in the wakes

An angel cannot find her way back home
When her wings are misplaced;
Her need for inner peace
Is cast far, far away into
The sick world we call home
Until the end of time, she must roam

Not all is a momentary lapse of sanity
We are capable of relief
From the agony and loathing
It causes us to go into a tranquil state
Nothing exists but the noise
We are just its toys

A rush of adrenaline caused by
The calamity of grotesque sound,
The meshing of misery and unrequited love
Angst-filled melodies that crash over your soul
Nothing matters here, for time stands still
A bullet to this generation, tempting to kill

Corruption would be unneeded, beautiful
Notes, high and low, liberating the bliss
A multitude of timeless possibilities
The potential downpour of rage
Is lost in its beauteous clutch
We only wish to touch

A form of it exists everywhere,
It may split emotions between conflicting sides, but
Ample bursts of electric shocks
Will find the core of your being;
It is the love we crave, the hate we suffer through
All that matters is that it gets through to you.
