Beauty

The stars shine
with all their beauty,
alluminating the night sky,
standing with the moon.
The elegance of this alone
is enough to make some realize
that life is huge,
life is a gift.
The dew on the grass,
the crickets chirping,
the sun waiting patiently
for night to end.
These are all things
the earth has to offer,
which we often over look,
ignorance of its brilliance.
Often we're too focussed
on petty things in life;
ripping your brand new shirt,
losing your cd.
arguments, misunderstandings,
heart break, pointless misery.
Take a moment.
Step outside.
Look at the flowers,
the grass, the trees,
the birds, and even the creepy bugs.
It's all so alluring;
if you could only bring yourself
to see the beauty
that I see.
