Too Young To Fall Poem

"Three years -- three long and bitter years.
Without your smile to chase my tears.
Three years, with nothing but you to miss --
Three years without your addictive kiss.

With out those eyes that outshine the stars --
Without the sound of crashing cars.
Three years -- three long and lonely years.
Three years of anger, blood, and tears.

It's been three years without your face --
Three years without my saving grace.
I was taken away by my protective mother --
And I've thrown you away, thanks to your stupid brother.

I let him get to me, and tear us apart,
Though your name's still tattooed inside of my heart.
I see the way that you glare wide-eyed at me --
As I kiss your best friend's lips, for you to see.

It's been three years, you stupid boy.
I could only love you, and never toy.
I guess there's one thing that I'm trying to say --
I'm still in love with you, Gerard Arthur Way."
