Incoherence

Those bubbles fill and line your glass
Intoxicating your innocent mind.
Another glass my dear?
Let go of all those foolish fears.
A child,
left alone.
Weeping in a low moan.
How dare those simple-minded masses,
Walking …
Towards me with out second glances,
Woo you to your state….
Of incoherence!

Now you’re vanished,
Conquered.
Those sips control your movements
Control your needs, priorities.
The child pushed aside.
The child speaks out,
Only to be punished.

The child learned.
Grew up on what she knew,
Silence.
Half voiced, full minded.
Stupid, they called her.
Speak!
They yelled at her.
Silence.
Whimpers.
Mute.
