See, I feel terribly bad now. Why? Well, because I absolutely hated Conviction. Since I hated it so much, for some reason I stopped listening to them completely, the stuff I loved. I got into all sorts of different things. Sometimes, I forgot Aiden was still around.
And then yesterday happened.
I went to Warped Tour. I saw Aiden because I remembered how much I loved them. I was absolutely blown away once again (I saw them a few years back). The whole time I was front row getting hugged by Wil and just loved by the music.
He told everyone how he has basically no money because people hate them. Men think they're emo and fags. They lost die-hard fans. Could anybody just love them and embrace eachother? And buy something from them, haha?
Afterwards, I met him. I apologized to him. I told him I loved them so much years back and I just stopped listening. I didn't tell him why I did, but I knew he knew why. I couldn't tell him...I said I was ashamed of myself. He said, "You should be ashamed." I knew he was joking, but you could tell he was a bit hurt. I just gave him a smile and told him never again will I lose my faith. He smiled and quietly said, "Thanks." It was all awkward then, and he was trying to keep a badass image by looking cool and acting all suave-like, so I broke it by making a joke about my friends being oblvious with the camera for the photo with him.
Anyway, sorry about this long comment.
It's just...I think people who read this article that thought the same thing I did should really go back and listen deeply to what they fell in love with. Also, that I should've been more respectful of Conviction. It's his music. Wil's his heart and sould going into musical format. Oh, god I feel so terrible now.
I am desperate to go out and buy the new album now.

Their new album is ok, but I liked Nightmare the best.
Knives is just a little... idk the music dosn't flow as nicely, like there's no bridge.
But it's good.
