MCR will always be a big influence on me and I could never fall out of love with them! Their work has given fans more of an insight into their creative minds, personal lives and futures; which after the Coventional Weapons releases we now know will hopefully lead to a much longer career, exploring new routes while still keeping the sounds we know and love!

i love their new album=] it's nice to get away from the "emo style" and they aren't nesecessarily (sp?) going pop. i think they are just switching it up and eventually will go back to their old ways

great article it sums everything up perfectly because they are amazing. but i did manage to get my hands on the album and its not my chem! iv been a fan forever and my fave album is bullets but they are going for too much of a mainstream sound with the killjoys. when i started listening i started to cry and a part of me died. im supposed to see them in consert next month and i hope they dont play any of the songs there :( i was realy looking forward to this for the past few months and now i feel like they disappointed me. i loved the emo sound and its gone now :(

    I loved this article<3

My Chemical Romance seems to be one of the only bands that continually changes their style of music but keeps true to their fans.

I think all their CD's have different aspects that make them great, I feel as though the new one is their way of having a little well deserved fun, and frankly I really do enjoy the new album, and plan on buying it.

I like it. It's something different. My favorite album is Three Cheers for Sweet Revenge.
We were supposed to see them yesterday in concert at Jimmy Kimmel Live, but it sucked ass, because they asked for ID to make sure that we were sixteen, and i don't have a California ID, and the school's too cheap to put the birthdate on our school ones. I went nooooo!!! and then my mom told me she had my medical insurance card, so we went back to form line again, but the secutrities told us that they had cut the line when there were 20 people left, and they weren't letting anyone else in:( we were super pissed..
so we went back and saw them at the signing:)
i made a t-shirt out of one of their white ones, i sewed their faces on top of an old "Black Parade" t-shirt, hoping that they would get the message, and they did:D

Honestly, I love this CD more then the previous three put together. The new CD is more of a fist-pumping-punk thing that I just find really refreshing. Because, lets face it, the "emo music" (as some put it) does indeed get old after a while. I'm glad about the change and the music video is EPIC!!!!!
Totally inlove with the new MCR

I'm really digging the new album, though I was slightly annoyed that Gerard said over and over that the album wouldn't be a concept album because it is. The new sound is so much more bright and current with an old school flow. Hopefully this will scare all their younger fans away, you know, the ones who think that Gerard loves cookies is "TEH BEST UTUBE VIDJO EVARR!". Maybe they'll finally be able to shed their "emo music for teenage girls" image that the media rips on them for.

Great article! Apart from a few spellcheck-worthy grammar things, it was fantastic. Very well worded and written.

When I first heard the tracks off the new album, I was a little tough to warm up to them, seeing as this album's so different from the MCR I grew up on. But, once you listen to the songs as just new music, and not as new My Chem music, it really is some great stuff. I'm very excited for this album to come out, and I'll definitely want to get my hands on a copy.

Outstanding article, loved it : )
Even if Danger Days is different from their past albums, I'll always love them as long as they keep their goal: saving lives.
Besides, it's not like they've gone pop. Not that there's anything wrong with that style of music, but angry MCR fans are saying that that's what they're doing. Um, yeah. Not really. It seems to me that people are calling them totally pop just because there's a bit of it in maybe one or two of the songs I've heard so far. They can make their music into whatever they want to. They make it, it's their decision. I honestly didn't exactly love Black Parade, and I think this album could be much better.
