    OH MY GOSH! I had to read this for english last year. It was torture! The book was confusing, I couldn't pronounce anyone's name, & it was only interesting when the missionaries came. Then it ended with the main dude hanging himself! WHAT KIND OF AN ENDING IS THAT!?!?!

    I read it in world lit too. You could list so many different things besides what you listed and what I mentioned in my article that the book discusses, which is one of the reasons I liked it so much :) thanks for the comment!

    I had to read this story for my world lit class as well. I liked it but we went over the views of Okonkwo on women verses the tribe. Okonkwo death for what we said was symbolic of their culture dying off and going into the new culture.
