I loved all of the books up to the fourth one; It was okay but not as riveting as the others.
I would love to be informed if they make this into a movie.
I would die happier.

I love this book so much. If they don't make it into a movie by the time I'm twenty I'm gonna write a screen-play for it myself! (I've threatened to do this for several other books too...)

I'm reading his book series The Midnighters
And pretty much everything can be better than Twilight because it's getting old.

Loved the books. They were the first series I read after Twilight and I loved them like hell. I wanted to be Tally so badly when she 'went out' with David.
And there's going to be a movie?
One word: YES!!!!!

I really enjoyed reading them all. However, I didn't like Tally in the final book. But all the same, I liked to read the different types of hierarchy were created.
Nice review :]

I really enjoyed reading Uglies and Pretties, but I had to drag myself to finish Specials, and couldn't bring myself to read Extras.

Also, very well-written article!

I absolutely love these books,
Though the movie probably won't live up to them.

this is such a controversial series it's quite a scary concept when you really think about it and almost feels as if we're heading that way now as people are so obsessive about looking perfect.
I'm quite wary about the films because all the Pretties are meant to look the same with different eye colour and hair colour being the only kind of difference really
I think it'll be hard on any actors to play the parts of Tally and Shay and the other pretties but let's not discourage it before it comes out.

It's a pretty good series. I don't think the movie will turn out good, but I'll definitely go see it. When books are made into movies, they're changed a lot, usually. The movie will liven up the boring bits of the book, so maybe it will turn out good afterall. We'll see ^w^

I liked the series for the most part- I just think there was too much time spent on them travelling.

aimless_ramble: Uglies in this future world are people who are normal (ie. natural with no surgery) and the Pretties have undergone drastic surgery to make themselves "perfect."

Yeah, I agree with some of the parts in the novel being a tad bit of a yawn but overall, it interested me to check out the other titles as well. From what my friends have told me, this is a great book! I think the movie would be a bit too much, if you ask me because these days, many of the books are being turned into a movie and you won't know if it'll fit your taste or not.
Plus, er, I dunno, I just like imaging things my way ;P

I love the books, very entertaining.
But I don't know if it's such a good idea to make this into a movie...
