This is one of my favorite books. It showed Stephenie's creativity outside of vampires while still maintaining the romantic aspect that her readers expect to find out of her books. Hopefully there will be more books like this to come from Meyer.

It was average. A few spelling mistakes, which I thought was poor show.

I definitely enjoyed this book heaps more than I enjoyed Twilight. It is by far a much better book.

I didn't find it confusing...
In fact, it's one of my favourite books. And I cried a lot at the end.
Vastly better than twilight.

I read The Host a few weeks ago. First couple of chapters were very confusing. I had to go on the internet because it didn't make any sense to me. It was just like, she left this thing there and expected you to know right away what was going on.
But overall, it was an okay book. I didn't love it, but I didn't hate it.
I really like what she had to offer about the human and soul and the connection to child and mother.

I just started the book and I agree that the first few pages are really confusing, but it's starting to get easier.

yep i'm reading it right now. it's quite good.
please don't hate me for saying this, but your review sounds a lot like the inside cover of the book, like the basic structure of it...

Great review. =)

I bought it the other day and have been reading it during classes, between studying, and any other time of day. It's amazing- I was addicted to it after the first page. The words flow so easily, making it easy to understand.

I bought Host yesterday and I'm already half-way finished with it! It's an AMAZING story, admittedly, a little hard to read, but still awesome.
