"splintered into millions of tiny silver shards which I shall use time and time again to scar myself, to cut away the pain caused by both the breaking of that mirror and my heart, to cut away the hurt I feel now that you are gone"
I love the way that the mirror turns from a thing that the people in the relationship can look at and admire themselves in, to the object that causes one of the written persona's to harm them self with, it's a very clever and beautiful play on the mirror representing the relationship and how it shows the happier and darker sides.
But the last two lines too, a very good evaluation of the topic the one-shot talks about: "show us both our love and hate in all their harsh and beautiful glory, a thousand fold?"
